Certified Expert in Microfinance

The course takes approx. 6 months assuming 3-4 hours of self-study per week. It consists of 7 mandatory units and 4 electives, which build upon each other. The units need to be completed in a sequence. To complete the course, participants must take two mandatory assignments and pass the final exam. Syllabus: Unit 1: International Trends and Best Practice Unit 2: Managing Micro Credits Unit 3: Managing Micro Savings and Micro Insurance Unit 4: Risk Management Unit 5: Marketing & Sales Unit 6: Financial and Social Performance Management Unit 7: Management of Human Resources Unit 8: Elective Units (8a - Agricultural Lending / 8b - Mobile Money & Digital Financial Services / 8c - Islamic Microfinance/ 8d - Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH))
